Purchased my wife a new Silver Essence EOS Turbo/Auto about a month back.
I was totally impressed with the vehicle to the point I went back and bought me a Black/Black 6-speed 2008 - love the car.

That makes us a 3 VW family - I have a 2003 Jetta TDI with 194,000 miles. and it still runs and looks like new (almost).

I think it's one of those Brit/Euro things :D

Actually I think the expression was invented by someone on the West Coast - might have been California or might have been Vancouver! You'd have to trawl through old posts to find out!

Welcome to our elite little group. Having visited Naples many times I can think of no nicer place to cruise.

You have two great cars and live in a fab part of the world, im in Naples soon, I will look out for a couple driving Eos with a huge grin.

New 07 EOS

I just traded my '04 Honda S2000 for a never titled '07 black on black manager's model with only 3500 miles on it. I got a great deal and the car looked brand new. While I loved the S2000, it was not a practical year round car for Chicago and I had to make accomodations for the fact that my teenagers were using my old Volvo more often. This EOS is a great car for me and a real step up in luxury. Although not a sports car, it is the right car for me at this point in my life, while still a very fun car to drive.

Think your right there GOgg. Sad to say SHF has dropped out of the forum since he had his health probs. I have even sent him a private message via the site to enquire how he is going on but sad to say no reply. If anybody knows Fred perhaps they could let us know how he is, he was a great contributor to the forum from the start.
