Just recently joined the forum and in Sydney hi to everyone

Welcome from the Mid-North Coast [great location to enjoy an Eos top-down experience].

I look forward to organising a gathering if we can get a few more owners in our region.

If you have an Eos or waiting for delivery, could you please include the details like the other participants in this forum.

Congratulations on your recent addition- I was wondering when it was due! Was it on time? (please please please say yes!) As mine is not being delivered until Jan 2009 I'm not visiting this site so often as I just get too pent up with envy. Great things are worth waiting for. Happy driving. A visit to the Wild West would always be welcomed!
PS: What does EDA stand for?

Hi Sand,

It was on-time as originally promised 4 months ago - took 3 weeks between unloading and delivery. The MY09 is awesome and has a lot of enhancements over the MY08.

Best part is it covered in excess of 13000Km to get here yet only showed 29Km on the trip meter. Must find out how the trip meter was wound back :D .

The car has done nearly 1000Km so far and I haven't been allowed to drive it yet - my partner has a permanent grin from ear-to-ear, a big padlock on the steering wheel and the keys are somewhere that I cannot find :( .

Weather so far has not been right to get some decent photos for posting but these will come.

A trip to W.A. could well be on the agenda once some other issues are finalised.

Hang in there mate - everything comes to those who wait!!

Hi Everyone! Also have a new addition coming. Just found this site, fanstic to read up on whilst 'waiting'. Apparantly arriving 10th December in Sydney, from there it's will take some time to get across to me in the West. Never know, might be just in time for Christmas...would be a great Christmas present!! :)

Rachel, Hi and welcome.

You could not ask for a better Christmas present.Lets hope the dealer puts a really big bow on it for you.

It seems that the EOS is really gaining in popularity down under.

What colour and spec are you going for and did you get a good deal?

Once again, welcome!!!!

Hi Rob,

Thank you! Certinaly do seem mre popular, it has been about two about two months ago now since I ordered mine and at that stage hadnt seen many around at all. Since then they are becoming quite popular, or maybe I am just noticing them a whole lot more!

I think I did get a good deal. I ended up getting a 2.0 tdi sport, diesel, shadow blue, beige leather, wood inserts, ipod connectivity. Think I am also going to get a tuning box also as my partner has one on his diesel range rover and makes a huge difference.... Havent seen one in the shadow blue yet though. Eyes always on the look out though!

Now we have to play the waiting game.... :) Have you got your Eos as yet? Any 'must-have' accesories you recommend?

Cheers,
Rachel
