Hello folks,

picked up my black on black EOS yesterday and do not want to ever get out of the vehicle. I am Canadian from Toronto and think it looks as good with the roof up as it does closed but the kids want the roof down.

Hey Mike,

I'm in Ottawa and bought my 2007 in Sept 2006. I am still in the honeymoon stage with this car, it is fabulous! I bought the snow tires this year and drove it in the winter and the tires made all the difference. Awesome traction.

My baby is black on black too...great choice!

Enjoy your car!

Enjoy! My kids love my car too. My oldest is 6 and she loves the feeling of her hair blowing around. My little one is 21 mo and she loves to point to my car and say "Top Dooooowwwwwwnnnnnnn". Then she points to all the other cars on the road and says "Top up, Top up, Top up, Top up".

I always go on when I am driving my EOS about other convertible owners driving with the roof up when it isnt raining.

When my six year old daughter is in the car she points to all the other convertibles with the roof up and shouts " roof up, roof up, why have a drop top"

I tell her to shush but she just grins and says " but daddy, you shout it to"

OOOppps.

I just bought a 2007, it has a phone button, but no bluetooth. Dealer is gonna charge me $ 425 for the bluetooth kit and $ 200 for labor. Does this sound right?
Also, winter tires icon keeps popping up. What exactly does this mean?

The bluetooth price sounds reasonable. They will have to install the microphone and wire the steering wheel. I know it has the button, but VW probably just makes all their Eos come standard with the same steering wheel. I could be completely wrong, but it makes sense. Labor is always high.

Winter tire or snowflake?? My old Jetta had the snowflake icon that came on if outside temp drops below 30 degrees. Just a friendly warning to warm the engine before jetting off (pun intended -)

Your 2007 Eos!

Congrats on your purchase Mike! I am also looking at a 2007 Eos. May I ask where you got yours? Was it through VW or a different dealership? Just curious how your purchase experience was. :) Thanks! Enjoy!
