Hi all, it's not a new eos, (late 2007), but i'm new here! Well i guess i'm introduced to everyone. Alltough i haven't participate a lot, i've read a lot of threads that were very usefull to me. Maybe with time i'll be able to help others to, untill then i'd just like to thank the moderators and everyone else who's contributing to the forums.

Regarding the car, well, beside the info on my signature, my eos comes with some other extras, i'm still finding new stuff sometimes. The other day i was simply spraying water on the windshields and found out that the headlights also have washers, (it's not an extra but i didn't knew about it)! I guess i still have to lose some time with the car owner manual :)

p.s. Last week found a button from the "volumetric alarm" (wich is an extra here in portugal), inside the drivers door, does anyone know exactly what does it alarm you about? does it make any sound at all or just cuts the fuel injection?!

p.s. i saw some members that like to compare the models/equipment available in each country, well i don't know if it has something to do with portugal being a small country, but using simulators on vw sites i could only reproduce my vehicle with US specs! the shadow blue paint with moonrock grey leather seats combination is only available in the us site, i could'nt make that choice in the uk or portuguese site, go figure!? In uk, spain, portugal and some other sites i've tested don't have available the light grey leather seats and trim, the lightest color is the light beige cornsilk.

well this is just a big "Hi all" and enjoy your amazing convertibles! here is still winter but with no rain i can drive with the top down very confortable! and the summer is coming in a couple of months!

Welcome!

While the most of your Eos specs are available in the US, there is one thing that isn't - your TDI motor! Sad that most people in the USA still think diesel motors are stinky, dirty and bad for the environment...
