Had the car for about six weeks now- yesterday was only the second time that I had to use the wipers.... is that a record in the UK? 
Anyway; the only thing that I was really disappointed with was the wind noise when the sliding sunroof was open, the pop-up deflector made it a bit better but still unacceptable for long distances. After trying the various combinations I think that I've cracked it: sunroof open, deflector not raised, both rear side windows down, front windows up. Try it. Around town, sliding roof open and all four windows down is good.
And..... roof down: best option seems to be to fit the wind deflector thingy over the rear seats but don't lift the vertical bit and to raise all four side windows; I've done some 300 mile trips in this config and walked away without my head ringing!
