Just waiting for shipping and delivery dates.

In the meantime I must apologise for drooling over every Eos I've seen since I placed my order. Hope it didn't mark the paint. I'm affraid it was me the other evening ddlweb (Dragon Green GTi).

Sems like we might actually get some summer after all. Looking forward to the first topless motoring since my Spitfire 30-odd years ago.

I'll let you off Rik - your drool didn't mark the car nearly as much as the large gull the other day!!

Look forward to seeing you out mate, and I do remember your perving!!!

Hi Rik,

Whereabouts in SE Essex are you? I grew up on the East London / Essex borders.

Hi Gavin

I'm at the wet end of the A13 - Where Seagulls Dare!

They're circling overhead already practising their bombing runs. So, do I sqeeze the car into my garage (tricky manœuvre as it was built for an Austin 7) or leave it glinting on the drive where I can admire it but presenting a juicy target?

Haha - it's a tough decision to make but I would leave her out but with the top up. Birds s**t is bad enough on the paintwork but on the leather? Oh no...

Hi Rickeos
Your playing the agonising Eos waiting game eh?
My dealer rings me every Tuesday as this is the day he says his computer gets updated on Eos activity, so could be worth a phone call in the morning to see if you have some news.
I was looking at a link someone had posted earlier for accessories and one of them was a cover for the Eos, maybe worth you having a lil look if you think your baby is going to be shat upon by every gull in the southend area eh?

Thanks for the tip Denny. I called the dealer but he has not had his system updated yet although he thinks mine might be on the high seas right now. He's placing a call to Germany where the tracking system sees and knows everything apparently. He'll call me on Friday.

Not sure about the cover idea. They're usually seen wrapped around "project" cars in my experience, just slowing down the rate at which a once-treasured object degenerates into a heap of rust. Better go with Gavin's recommendation until I sort the garage out.

I'm trying to bear the pain of waiting. At least the tingling feelings of anticipation make a good antidote. And the daydreams.
