Got my new baby today - that's what the better half calls the EOS.
Except when parked had the top down all day. Good job that I couldn't take her on monday - they messed up the finance papers - as it was raining then.

What a fantastic car. Other than photos I hadn't seen the Island grey until today - I love it. As some others have said it seems to change colour with the light level. And whoever said the red nappa was a lipstick color, couldn't have seen it in real life - looks great especially with the island grey.

Took a few pics today I'll post better ones tomorrow. Thursday is a holiday here in France, so EDA here we come. Not sure whether to head for the mountains or drive along the Med coast. I'll be grinning all day long, whichever I choose.:D

Jim.

Dream color combination

Very nice color combination, maybe the best, unfortunately not available here in Canada. I had to choose black on cream as my second choice. Expecting delivery for a 2008 model at the end of July.

Looks terrific. Mountains; coast; all beautiful! I love your part of the world. My Avatar picture was taken on the Route Napoleon last August (06). What a drive!

Weather here is threatening rain and is cold (15C) and grey sky. Looks like it may be a top up EDA today. Not sure if I'll get any good pics in this light.

This area is great EOS country. Would be perfect if it wasn't for the mad french drivers. There's hardly a car here that isn't dented & not just door dings. Most bumpers are scraped & gouged.

Definitely not taking the EOS shopping.

Know waht you mean. I drove my Eos around Paris on the way home last August and it nearly got totalled by an idiot (female) in a Clio. Are they all actually blind or do they just drive around with their eyes closed?!

I've driven through France hundreds of times, off again to Paris and down to Burgundy in August - but for the first time will be feeling nervous!!! [Mrs Smoggy querying how we will fit in lots of Chablis/Meursault with the top down - have offered single trip Easyjet ride back for her - she unimpressed!!!]

Very jealous of the countryside you're driving through - happy EDA's!!

1st EDA today

Yes neh. I think they close their eyes and if they don't hear a bang all is ok.

Yes Paul. I had a great EDA today. Started with just the sunroof but then got a bit warmer & it was top down for the rest of the drive. Great roads down here. The TDI really flies when you let it go.

Decided on the Luberon hills. Went up to Carpentras, some lovely gorges on that route.

Put on a few pics. Bit of scenery but somehow the EOS keeps getting in the shot;)

Hold on a moment... why's the steering wheel on the wrong side?

All the best mate, let us know how she loosens up.

It's all because Napoleon was left-handed so needed that hand free for his sword!

Wouldn't you know the French are to blame?!

A lonely EOS

What is the logo on the rear of the car under the EOS sign?
If it's a dealer sticker, it'd come straight off mine!!
Nice car tho:D
It'll be off soon. Too keen to drive her than worry about a little sticker. Can't see it when I drive.
I only had 1 day to drive her and now on holiday back in England. So I'm feeling a bit EOS-sick (home-sick!).:(

Gavster. The dealer said she doesn't need running-in but I will all the same. When I did let her go a bit she really flies & doesn't feel tight at all. On the first tank she's doing just a tad over 40mpg.:)

Thanks for the nice comments. I'm in love:D
