What is the official Eos spotting Etiquette ?

A) Is it a flash of the lights …trying to stay cool and unimpressed:cool:
B) A nod … ;)
C) Wave like mad !:D

Please ignore the "A) is it a " on the poll copy and paste error(lazy) that i cant edit (help)

I don't tend to notice it's another EOS until I've passed it, so non of the above for me, but if the wife spots one she usually waves like mad, sadly she is usually in her Merc at the time !

I wave and smile - mind you spotted one yesterday morning being driven by a lady who looked really miserable! How can you be miserable driving such a lovely car!

We have had a couple people in Eos' pull up next to us and say Hello, and another who honked and gave us the thumbs up as he passed, but no one has waved back to us. Maybe it's fear, non concern, unfriendliness, who knows.....

I waived too!

Aloha All,
It was a great, clear, and sunny day in Honolulu, Hawaii! I made the mistake of waiving, on to find out as I got closer, it was a convertible Chrysler Sebring! Oops! They waived back anyway! Did VW copy Chrysler? Did Chrysler copy VW?

Hey, come on! If you can't tell the difference between an Eos and a crappy Sebring, go see your eye doctor for glasses! You'll need then anyway when you renew your driver's license.

From my experience in Hawaii, I think 99.9% of the Sebrings are rental car with tourists. They probably thought you were just a friendly native giving them an Aloha!

Most often a slow drive by, and a nod, and a wave, and smile...

Strange enough, I seem to be the only EOS drivrr over here to consider my car as special... People I drive by, as well as those expresing themselves in other 'French' EOS-related forums, are mostly sounding like "it's just another car" or "tune it as much as you can" kind of people... I respect their way of thinking, just sad nto to be able to create a community of French EOS fans!

I am not blind, and am not in need of glasses. Show some class!

Sorry Lopaka...

I was just kidding about your eyesight. However, I do think Sebrings are crappy with what's out there today. Back in '95 when there were only a couple of convertibles available, Sebrings were OK for a sunny ride IF you didn't have a '95 Mustang convertible. I was over in Hawaii in Jan '96 and rented a Sebring. When it broke down after a day, Alamo gave me a Mustang.

I liked it so much I bought one as soon as I got home and kept it up until last November when I discovered the Eos.

We all just love our cars. Hope to keep it for a long time. Fun factor, style, and heck, Bmws and Mercedes a dime a dozen in Hawaii.:D

We had a Sebring when we were on the Big Island 3 years ago and we liked it other than the fact we thought it could use more engine. The handling and ride on thye the Touring model was decent. The Firebird we had a few years earlier was more fun but the roof leaked badly and you had to be careful going into and out of parking lots or you wou hit its nose on the pavement. However the people in Hawaii are quite freindly and generally wave back if you wave at them. Wish I were there now.........

Sunny warm day on Sunday, all the convertibles out with tops down. Spotted a silver Eos on the A5 in N.Wales. gave a grin and got a grin back.
Saw a second silver Eos near Queensferry who was stopped at the lights, I gave a wave and a grin and got a wave and a grin back.
Usually I get ignored so two in one day is a record! :)
Cheers, David

Coming back from the gym Sunday morning, stopped in the middle of the road turning right on the A46 roof down got a wave and smile from another silver EOS coming in the opposite direction - what was strange was it was such a beautiful day and they weren't 'topless' !
