I know it's Tiguan rather than Eos but nevertheless the Auto Express article at http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/grouptests/226920/volkswagen_tiguan.html makes for interesting reading since the engine fit is almost identical.
Interesting comparison, no mention of engine noise difference but I imagine the Tiguan has good soundproofing for the diesel. Does the new TDI Common Rail produce more CO2 than the older PS engine which I think was 158 g/km in the Eos?
