I just bought a 2012 2.0T Eos. It has a RDC510 stereo and should have bluetooth but it won't connect to the phone. I brought to VW dealership and they said it's most likely the bluetooth module under the passenger seat is bad. I was debating on replacing the whole system with a aftermarket one. After doing some research, I need some advice on what VW stereo I should upgrade to?? I want to have backup, maps and streaming. Does anyone have some advice on which one I should look at and where is a safe place to buy one??
thank you,
Dina

What kind of maps and what kind of streaming? The RCD330 will connect to Android phones and iPhones (depending on model) so you just use the maps and other apps from your phone; it has built-in Bluetooth so installation should be easy enough. It will support a reversing camera too. Others on this forum have bought the RCD330 and can advise you where best to order from.

I strongly recommend a RCD330 with the latest firmware and a Carlinkit V2 wireless bluetooth adapter.
Works well. Plug an play if you dont have Dynaudio or Reversing camera.
