I am looking to purchase a windbreak for my Eos , cannot find any on Ebay, asking local dealer but assume will silly price.

Anybody got details of Suppliers (also any idea the price range is)?

Here's several more, assuming you're in the UK. Strangely, there are none currently for sale in the US where the wind deflector is standard equipment.

I personally wouldn't be caught without mine. To prevent it from getting bent, etc, I just leave my installed nearly 100% of the time. The only time I've had it out was when I needed the back seat for a passenger. I keep the storage cover under the trunk floor (on top of the spare tire). That way it doesn't get lost or beat up when putting stuff on top of the cover.

If you are in Australia I can give you the official VW cost.
I bought one a few weeks ago for $726 ($660 + GST).
The storage bag (which I didn't get) was $100.

I saw that as well. That is ok though, because I boycot (refuse to give business to) anyone who hasck's a site, sends me unsolicited email, or any other form of SPAM. I do not care about the great deal $$$ regardless of how good it may be. I will not buy their product.

Seriously, if anyone has concerns about any posts on the forum, please PM me and I will take appropriate action. I have moderated another car club forum for many years and whilst I prefer to encourage robust discussion and alternative points of view; I am aware that I am more "thick-skinned" than most people and laugh-off personal attacks in the expectation others will form their own opinions about the person making these attacks. However, I am also aware that other members are more sensitive or have different standards to myself and their wishes must also be acted on. Confidentiality and anonymity at all times is my absolute and unequivocable guarantee to everyone.

Whenever I edit posts rather than deleting them entirely, I always include a message to advise other readers that I have edited the content and it will be in a different coloured text to make this obvious.

Seriously guys, thanks for taking on the job. Generally there is no need for moderators on this forum, we are generally well behaved (probably me excluded at times) but we do need someone to get rid of the spammers, and I couldn't think of anyone better for the job.

Hi Derek,

I originally deleted the post and disabled further posting to the thread but did not delete the thread entirely so it appears when you do a search. I kept it so it could be reinstated if there was a demand for its return.

I will leave it "as is" for a week then delete the thread completely.
