I did search first so apologies if this has been posted elsewhere...

Could someone give me some tips on removing the radio (RCD310). I can envisage bits of broken plastic and a lot of blue language. I'm sure the trim pops out and then clips or screws underneath to remove the unit.

The trim pops out, but be careful. Start towards the top of one side and the carefully work round, using some thin stiff plastic (bones) rather than screwdrivers. The unit is held in with 4 bolts which are visible when the trim is removed. Unit then slides out and you can remove the connections. Pretty simple once you've removed the trim.

Thanks for the response. I've some plastic tyre levers I've used on another car that seemed to work. Its just the creak and ping when the plastic unclips that freaks me out.

Cheers

There are loads of them, so don't be too upset if you snap a couple off the first time!! ;) Won't affect it... But you will then learn for next time... I can remove mine in 10 seconds no problem, its easy!
