Hi everyone,

So pleased to have found the "EOS Club" - well done on creating such a site!

Let me introduce myself - I am Joy and live in Ireland. I LOVE convertibles and previously owned a MX5 but found it quite impractical only having two seats. I have been toying with the idea of getting another convertible for over a year and have now taken the plunge.

I have ordered my new EOS and get it on Saturday! WOOHOOO! I cannot wait and no doubt will be at the garage for it opening on Saturday morning.

The weather here in Ireland can be very touch and go so I am hoping and praying the sun will shine on me and I can get the real EOS vibes with the top down.

I am hoping I have made the right decision - it was between the EOS or the Audi A4 Convertible! Keeping my fingers I have chosen the right one.

Anyway I look forward to telling you all about my first experience on the open road with my pride and joy.

I will certainly post pics of my new car for you to see. I opted for the TDI in metallic black. I am going for cloth interior as I am not a fan of leather seats - was put of one scorching day when I got into my brothers car and had a skirt on and got the back of my legs burned!

You have no idea how excited I am and cannot wait until Saturday - I keep looking at the brochure and checking the weather forecast - roll on Saturday! I have my new air freshner and sun glasses at the ready.

Thanks again for the warm welcome - I hope to be able to share my EOS experiences with you all as I get used to my new car!

Welcome Joy, You are mistaken on one point tho - we all know how excited you are!! We have all been there and to some extent are still there!! Unless it's actually raining, the roof on mine is down at every opportunity!
