Get the car into a heated garage ASAP and Krytox all [roof and door] seals. The seals have gone hard from the cold and the creaking is due to a lack of lubricant between the door metal and the hard rubber seal. Nothing to be concerned about IMHO.

is there a problem with the windows freeing in the up position when it is very cold?if the windows freeze is it imposable to open the doors..is this a warm weather car.my son just bought one....

There is certainly a concern with freezing. When the door is unlocked, it attempts to lower the window slightly, so if there is freezing, then there will be a problem.

I personally have not had the problem with my 2009 throughout the past winters here in Ottawa. However, it would be a good idea to keep some anti-freeze for locks handy or keep a de-ice tool in the trunk.

When the temperature drops and frost shows on the windows I use an old hairdryer to go round the window seals. Away from home a can of deicer does the same job.
