Hi,

I have a 2009 EOS 2.0 Sport and it is fitted with a standard steering wheel. Is it possible to retro fit a Multifunction Steering wheel? Excluding the Steering Wheel itself, what additional parts and wiring looms/harnesses would I need to obtain to do this?

I have an RCD330 Stereo fitted and my VCDS is on order.

Cheers.

You may need a new steering wheel control module and slip ring wiring. If you have DSG you definitely won’t; depending on the part number of the control module you may not need to replace it.

Here's some information and here's a parts catalogue you can use to find the correct parts for your year of Eos - don’t take the part numbers in that howto as a given.

You should check the part number of your steering wheel control module and the steering wheel itself before doing anything, as there are several different versions of things for different model years. Sometimes you don’t even need to replace the steering wheel, you just need the buttons.
