I want to retrofit a nav package (RNS 510) in my 07 eos. It involves swapping out the existing dynaradio receiver with the rns gear. I understand the 510 is expensive. However, I'm more interested in the DIY asprct, since I know that the install is Plug and Play, with in and outputs standaard in the Eos. My local V W dealershhipi is reluctant to do the job, citing high dost and possible damage in the work.

Interested in and appreciate any thoughts on this project.

BTW, I am in south central Pennsylvania, nearest VW dealer in Hollidaysburg, south of Altoona.

TIA, Steve Myers in Bedford PA

I have a "Rosen Entertainment" system for sale for $500. Had it in my car for about six weeks and it worked fine but swapped it ut for a Pioneer system. The unit is plug and play for an EOS, provided cables plug right in to he existing radio cables. Check out my ad in the classifieds, and/or for a full description go to http://www.dsidler.com/Rosen/Rosen.html. Also go to http://rosenentertainment.com/rosen_...ideos_2010.htm for training videos for all the features of the system. I was able to install it myself in my 07 in about 1 hour.
