The volume of the beeper for my reversing sensors is very low, especially with the roof down. Does anyone know if the volume can be increased ?

ps. I am not deaf - if the radio is on at even a really low volume it drowns it out.

Mine randomly increases/decreases in volume, regardless of the "urgency" level (speed of beeps). It usually starts out loud, then will suddenly go very quiet, then back to loud sometimes.

I know it does this with top up - don't recall if it does with top down.

I'll have it checked out at my 5,000 mile service. That'll probably be another 5-6 months though. I'm trying to save the Eos from parking lots as much as possible, driving my old Pontiac GTP unless it is a pleasure cruise.

reverse and alarm beep volume

After some digging around it would appear that the reversing sensor volume can be changed by VW service and at a guess I would say that the alarm beep on or off will follow this same model. So I guess this means that unless you have access to a VW service computer you will have to go to the dreaded dealer to resolve this one.
