After much anticipation I finally took the plunge and traded in my trusty Volvo C30 for a 09 EOS Komfort. I would love to replace the stock head unit with one of the newer navigation ones. I was looking at the RNS 315 and the RNS 510.My car also currently has the iPod dock in the center armrest. I was wondering if both of these options would work and what steps would need to be taken to install them. The photos attached are of my stock radio and the RNS 315 and 510.

We have a 2014 Komfort with the RNS315 and a 2012 Tiguan SEL with the RNS510. The 510 has more features (HD Radio, NavTraffic, Weather and Xtra features) but three of those add to the standard SiriusXM subscription. Of course, the screen is bigger. BUT.... It is very slow. So much so that we wish we had the RNS315 in both cars.

Thanks for that info! I had heard that the 510 was very slow. I can get the 315 for about 200 dollars cheaper so I might do that. I just need to figure out if it is fully compatible with my car.
