Hi,

I have a 2008 EOS which I love and which runs great all year round but to ensure that I have no winter issues with the seals, I always spray them with Krytox each fall. Buying this stuff through VW at $78.00 a small bottle is killing me. Does anyone have a source for buying a larger amount or at least at a better price that will ship to Canada. Fluid is great but it is like gold!

I use Einszett Gummi Pflege Stift - works the same, waaaayyyy cheaper. You can buy it on ebay.

Anybody who wants to keep their EOS more than a year and still decides to use Krytox over Gummi, should find their local Dupont reseller and buy the bulk size. VW Stealership is a ripoff unless you just want one quick wallet fix application.

Not sure what Krytox 'spray' you use because we all use the GPL oil?
