I wouldn't have bought the car if I wasn't happy with the looks (with roof up or down). I think they have done a great job with the design. That's why I've got one in my parking space at the office right now. :)

Personally, I think it looks nothing special with the roof up. That actually appeals to me because it makes it look less like a car some **** would scratch.
I've seen many a boxster, Audi TT etc with obvious "key" marks down the sides. I feel I can leave the Eos parked outside with no worries.
Love it top down tho!:) :)

I think the designers have done a great job, obviously a lot of time has gone into it, to make it look good with the roof either up or down. :)

It's better looking with the top down. More fun, too.
With your EOS Club monicker, it's no wonder you would vote that way. But I do agree!

I liked it with the roof up. Probably becase it is the nicest looking CC around. And in the UK with our weather the roof's up more than down. In saying that the Peugot 307 CC come close as well.( build quality I don't think as good though nor the engine)

As far as more pics are concerned I want to do it along with a video, but If we could actually get some sunny weather again it may be possible, fingers crossed.

Looks great both ways up or down. I feel with the top up, the EOS always looks ready for take-off. With the top down, that says it all.

I just received a compliment today, from a stranger. What kind of car is that ? It looks real sporty. With he top up, when I told them a VW CSC their jaw dropped as they replied, "real nice."

Like others, I wouldn't have gone for it if it didn't look good with the roof up. VW have done a great job in keeping the rear looking trim, and not the horrible bulbous bums of the other CC's. And the 307cc!!! Good Looking!!!! Purleeeezzzzz!!!!! They've managed to make it look odd at the front AND the rear!!!!

Totally agree, Pacey old chap! They're not the only car manufacturers to have dodgy designs - it does make you wonder who signs off these things. or even what user forums they get feedback from! [in the UK, Ford Scorpio anyone??]. Maybe they get the CEO sign off on the phone on a holiday weekend while he's struggling with the BBQ? "Watever you say chaps, now let me brown the other side of these sausages before the rain really sets in and grandma falls asleep in the salad bowl again"

Gizza job!!! I cud be 'car design sign off approver' - no experience needed other than a 'discerning' car owner/driver

i dont even put the pug and eos in the same league, nor the astra come to that
i am changing from a new merc and have done much soul searching about going 'down' market so please dont talk about the eos unless its compared with A4 and 3 series
i actually bought it over an A4 for the roof
