Hi all,

I just found a small rubber part sitting in my back seat that I assume fell out of my roof during an opening/closing cycle. I've attached a few pictures of the piece here (with a picture of my key for scale). Its made of very soft, flexible rubber. Does anyone know where this piece comes from, and if its easy for me to replace? Has this happened to anyone else?

Any advice/feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks for your help!

If you have the rear windscreen, look at the bottom by the ends where the locking pins go.

Excellent, thanks! I'll take a look.

I almost always have my rear windscreen installed, but had a few guests in town recently so had taken it out, and assumed that the part had fallen in the back seat while I had the windscreen out. But maybe it fell out when I was replacing the windscreen a few days ago. I'd much rather it fell out from that than out of the actual roof! :)

Thanks guys. The rubber part has been sitting in my glove compartment for the last 4 months as I had no idea where it had come from. Thanks to you it has now been reattached to its rightful location!
