Folks,

Has anyone figured out how to route the cable for a satellite radio antenne safely through the roof mechanism for mounting on the trunk(boot) lid?

Has anyone found another suitable location?

Thanks in advance,

Stephen

Why not try to mount it on the dashboard? That's where my factory unit's antenna is mounted. I would thing you would have a REAL problem with a trunk mount.

Thanks everyone. After research I learned that the factory antenna is mounted in the center of the dash against the windscreen; where there is a small rectangular cap. I've attached the sirius antenna with some sticky stuff to the cap and all is well. :) The radio was full-bars for a 400 mile round trip to memphis and back this weekend. :)

Again, thanks.

Did you need to replace the factory radio? I want to install a Sirius satellite radio but VW tells me they don't have a wiring kit for the Eos and the factory radio would have to be removed.
