Does anybody know if it is possible to have the SatNav on without the multi CD player or radio playing.

The simple solution is to activate the "Mute", however I am worried this is not a good solution as the CD is effectively still "on" and whirring away.

It would sometimes be pleasant to have directions to the planned route without having music in the background.

Have looked in the manual and it does not appear to be possible

SatNav alone

I select Radio (and I'd be surprised if this does not stop the CD multiplayer running) and then SatNav/Destination, and then Mute (and I'd be surprised if this started the CD multiplayer running again).

Mute does not mute the SatNav voice, which is mostly OK, but sometimes I'd like Mute to Mute everything....
