The other day someone climbed across the back seats of my lovely Eos and accidentally caught the leather with their shoe. It's left a scuffed mark, despite having black leather on the centre section between the two rear seats. Tried using leather cleaner but can't remove the scratch. Any ideas? It's not too bad, but can be clearly seen when the sun shines etc and is annoying!

If leather cleaner does not remove the scratch - you will have to use a proprietary leather crack filler and dye to eliminate the scratch.

A typical system is "Leatherique" which I have seen used successfully on concours-winning vehicles [I have never used this product myself]:

There are number of information brochures which can be downloaded for reference purposes.

a very small amount of WD-40 on a soft cloth has taken out a variety of small marks. After I use this, I usually then use Lexol cleaner and then Lexol leather protectant

Thank you for your helpful tips Stephb and Darren. To update you, I used some shoe polish restorer that has worked a treat and has almost completely removed the scuff mark. Plus it was much cheaper than car leather cleaners! Now just got to stop my neighbour's cat climbing all over my car and leaving paw marks!!

Shoot it lol :D

Only messing, leave orange peel or pepper near your car it won't come near it. I know it stops them from pooing in the garden.

Someone mentioned one of them magic eraser things that you see advertised on the telly to get marks off the seat so will have to try it.
