I left my Eos alone for a few minutes in the hot sun, when I returned the Black Leather seats were almost unbearibly hot.
Has anyone got tips on good seat covers to relieve the heat.

I'm considering Sheepskin covers, although in black I can imagine they get warm too.

Thanks,
Lash

I use one of two techniques depending on where the sun is in the sky and how long it will be parked. method one involves parking such that the sun is to
[/QTE]ithe rear of the car so shaddows are cast forward and then releasing the seat forward as if someone were getting in the back to provide a little more shadow. method two is to close the roof - don't forget the moonroof as the sun through the glass will also heat them up.

The best cover to prevent this is a good, large bum. It will also warm the leather in the winter. One should not park the Eos when the sun is out, one should drive it. :)

To do much driving anymore, you'd better have money coming out your bum.
Although if the Sealy above is anything like mine, it's full of gas!

Thanks so much, I'll be here all week!

What a giggle! You have a Sealy? My very propper looking/acting female can clear a room. What is it with these dogs?

Sheepskins work well in any colour BUT why have leather if you are going to cover it up?
I'd just find a better spot to park it.

Hi Sealy.
I hate to ask, but do you speak from experience? I think I qualify on size but not on time spent on board!
Cheers!

I was thinking about this very issue this morning on the way to work. Now that it has hit the mid 90s during the day here the top is down in the morning and the A/C is on in the afternoon.

I was thinking about leaning my window shade over the driver's seat somehow but it will probably fall or blow down. So I just put the top up, and opened the sunroof slightly. I kept the sunroof shade 3/4 way shut. I'll let you know how it works.
