Can anyone tell me how to reset the service indicator?
The garage forgot to reset it after my service so I get nagged every switch on.
Any help appreciated as I don't want to have to take it back again.

Thanks

Do believe only VW dealers can do it!
Since they forgot I'd get them to come to your place to do it!

On US cars this can be done by the owner. It is in our owner's manual.
Pg 12 of Booklet 3.1 Controls and Equipment:
With the ignition off press and hold the (0.0) trip odometer reset button ->

Switch the ignition on ->

Let go of the (0.0) button and, within 20 seconds, briefly press the (MIN) clock reset button ->

After a short time, the screen switches back to the normal display. The reset mode is canceled if the (MIN) button is not pressed within 20 seconds, or if the vehicle is driven before resetting is complete.

(i)Tips
Do not reset the service interval function between scheduled maintenance intervals; doing so will result in an incorrect display.<

If the time is right after the service before too many miles have accrued, then the tip can be ignored. I would recheck your owner's manual first to see if this is shown. I have done this and it does work.

Thanks, Graham. I'm glad it worked. We're flying out to see the new granddaughter in about a month. We would have loved to drive The Eos there but don't want to spend three days driving each way plus the fuel cost just is not justifiable for us.
