Well at least you've started off well not wanting somebody to try and upload what is a huge manual for free! I've had various 'resources' over the years and all required a tricky PC install. I recently bought a manual from this online company which fits the bill for me now. It may not be the only online company, so don't take this as an exclusive recommend! They can be a bit slow from the time of online order and expect 3-4 days without hearing anything. The manual will blow your mind as to how tricky the EOS can be to work on. Is it worth the money? You can find and mess about with tricky pc installs of ELSAWIN and still only get a 'generic' version not specific to your VIN. You will save the manual cost many times over by DIY and not accidentally breaking expensive parts. After buying a manual you need to think about buying diagnostics.
V.W service manuals used by V.W shops tend to be specific versions to the VIN of your car because all their cars have different customizations, features and can change in production month to month - particularly electronics and wiring.
This company creates a pdf workshop manual of over 600 pages with pages specific to YOUR VIN. Even down to the custom options on your EOS when it was first bought. Having a big pdf is great to work with as it has the usual Acrobat indexing structure and page sections can be printed. Be aware that a V.W manual like this is not written like a Haynes manual for beginner DIY and there's quite a lot of back and forward page linking to follow.
A feature I'm now using a lot is electronic 'post-it' notes on pages I'm working with and 'custom bookmarks', making it easier for me to find sections I've already been to. It has all the wiring diagrams, although as with most V.W wiring diagrams, they can be hard to trace through over several pages. Their pdf manual isn't locked or write protected (good) and you must keep a clean backup copy (write protect it) before editing a copy and adding your own custom bookmarks or page notes. You can't do this with the alternative manual hacks on the web.
