They have delayed my Eos, problems at port apparently! Won't be getting it until next week. However, I have a brand new R32 Golf to tide me over ha ha!

My dealer told me that the cars come into Grimsby, a few things that he has said to me have been contradicted on the forum. must admit I am starting to doubt then double check what he says. I pray he has not poggered my Eos order up.
Maybe a health warning should be issued when you order your Eos, it seems that we all become consumed with it, we worry about delays and hitches, and even in poor old Gavins case his sleep pattern has been disturbed LOL but i dont think any of us would change a thing. Its all part and parcel of the great EOS owners club!!!

Mine exists, saw her on transporter this morning and seen it at dealers tonight.

Now just to get DVLA to extract their digit and she'll be mine !!!

Off to see them tomorrow to try and speed things up !!

Please define "poggered up". I live in the States, but it sounds like a description I could apply to several moments in my life!

poggered originally meant broke/n,
it is used in my area to say stuffed up (did wrong) but have also heard people refer to being tired as being poggered. have probably confused you more now lol

Well -- I google "poggered". More than one source says it is from Romani (Gypsy) and means broken. There are references to "English Romani", but I have yet to find the origin of that. When I asked about it here, I simply assumed it was a commonly used word in the UK.

Anyway, to get back on topic, I do hope Denny gets his Eos in a New York minute.

Thanks surenuf I am going to assume that a New York minute is fast.
I am told today that my Eos is still awaiting ship from Germany and the dealer anticipates a delivery of 10-14 days to his site, thats all good as I am due to collect on Sept 1st.
but for her to sit at the dealership for a few weeks is opening all new issues in my head of what ifs, and will it be worse knowing my Eos is only 15 mins away???

BTW Denny is looking forward to getting her Eos LOL

Haha - I have just come up with an idea to overcome this problem.....

Apart from an EOS photo gallery, we need an owners gallery! I'll be the first to post one of me with my lovely missus and kids!
