Collected the EOS tonight!!!! Still grinning. WOW. It is UNBELIEVABLY fast.. quite scary really and definately faster than my GTi despite the extra weight!! Had the roof up, down, up, down etc etc while showing off to my large family 
The cream interior is beautiful and it does have twin exhaust pipes visible (I knowthere were some qs about this a while ago)
So you were all sooooooo right.... not thought once about my GTi (until this post that is!)
I am photo illiterate, so it may be a while before I can take photos and even begin to understand how to upload them!
AND the sun kept shining.... it is very cloudy right now so it may be a while until I can get the roof down again!
