Not much difference really to be honest on the inside it's slightly darker but on the outside it looks alot darker than it really is.

I've added more piccys that I taken tonight I've done inside and out so you can see how dark it looks from the inside out :)

Hi Steph.
It's something I would like to do. It looks, when viewed from the inside, that the tinting is the same shade both on the main side window and the back quarterlight, but not so when looking in from the outside. Are both tinted and if so are they to the same degree? (I always thought it was illegal to tint the front side windows or am I wrong? ................)
Well the front windows are in Light Smoke the guy who did it said he has never had a problem with it, now the rear quarters are also tinted and are supposed to be the same colour but they look different to me too! and then the rear window is in smoke. Yes it is illegal but from the inside it isn't really that dark so should be ok. I also rang my insurance company and put it on my insurance at no extra cost.

I left the colour choice to Mark (the guy who did it) and I'm happy with it. But I have a dark coloured car and light interior :)

If you want his details I can give them to you. The company must be a franchise as they are up and down the country :)

The tints aren't that dark you can still see inside I don't think I will have a problem.
