Congratulations on the new EOS - I am due to get mine in 2 weeks. I don't suppose you know what your build date was do you (I would like to know how long it took from build to you getting your var - also do you know if you got the new style TDI engine. I understand this has changed recently, but I am unsure if we will get it.

Hi Tony i ordered mine the last week of november 07 and it was here the last week of february if that helps?

I did get the old style of TDI engine but i dont think it makes much of a difference anyway.

My Eos was week six and has the older engine, The updated engine starts on week 31. At the moment it's taking 14 weeks if you get your order in just before the cut off time, or 16 - 17 weeks if you on start of the order list. Ship docks tuesday at grimsby with 47 Eos on it. hope one is yours. but the wait is well worth it.

Wow you have certainly had quite a wait. Did you get delayed for any reason?

I have been quoted the following dates:

Ordered:3/5/2008 - Say Week 19 as it was a weekend

Build date - Week 23 - 2nd to 6th June - somewhere on this site someone is saying the new engine is 26th May onwards - hence my interest

Been told it is in a port now (no idea where) and expecting collection by end of June.

I have a pretty basic spec with 2.0TDI, Black, Std Cloth, Lux Pack, Winter Pack, Le Man 17", Aux In (just the 3.5mm socket).

Either way I can't wait - and the change of spec is more of a mystery than a requirement.

As mine had been specced up (and was virtually identical spec to that i wanted) i only had to wait 15 days for mine from order date. 7 of those due to the fact the transporter was delayed a week!

Love it though. A lot!!
