The wheels need a bit of TLC now that I've clocked up a couple of hundred miles. I knew the Solitudes would be tricky as there's not much room to get in between the spokes. And they've been Permaguarded so any water just runs off.
Any tips on what to use to wipe away the road grime and brake dust? Do I use the Wheel Cleaner in the Permaguard maintenance kit? Has anyone come across a suitable implement to reach into the narrrowest gaps near the hub?
Too soon to tell on Permaguard but it's looking good so far. It probably has more of a visual impact on the dark colours but it does give the surface a smooth feel.
I have to leave the car outside and it has been getting covered in dew lately. I wipe the water off, gently, with a clean shammy and that seems to work. The ocassional bird dropping wipes off easily too (tip: never let them dry out). The Permaguard stops any permanent bonding to the paint - a definite plus-point round here!
