This is a new to my daughter car. The Wipers and Wipers washer do not work. I suspect there is something wrong in the circuit rather than both the Wipers motor and washer motor are dead.

Fuses are ok.

Any suggestions as to what/where to check?

Solved. I unplugged the Hood latch sensor and now Wipers and Washer work.

The hood latch switch is there to stop the wipers working when the hood is open. It catches many out, but that's the way V.W designed it.
