Can someone enlighten me as to where the speakers are on the UK Eos with the basic 4 speakers with rcd300? I know two are in the front door, are there suppose to be 2 in the back? I don't seem to be getting any sound from rear appreciate a reply.. many thanks

You need a more qualified response because some 'speakers' are hf tweeters. The stock (not Dynaudio) rear uses a bass unit either side and a tiny tweeter fixed to each side trim. Their very short wires are often pulled off and not refitted when a rear side trim is removed.

The front is similar - bass units fixed to the door metal skin and small tweeters attached to the door cards. There is space for a mid range speaker, but it's not fitted on lowline spec. cars.

Useful tip: V.W compatible diagnostics running with a genuine V.W OE radio head unit will sequentially 'ping' and self test every speaker in the car and throw a fault code if it's disconnected. If a speaker isn't throwing a connection fault code but no sound is heard, it's mechanically dead. That's how I discovered my rear tweeter wires had been pulled off.
