Tori, whats the new wizzy tax disc holder ? Have you tried nail varnish remover on sticky window?

I think I'd use white spirit which I think is less agressive than the acetone in nail varnish remover. Still be careful though.

To remove sticky parts my son the mechanic said to use brake cleaner. I used it to remove the sticky parts left behind from removing the rear badges on my Eos. Works like a charm and does not affect the paint, therefore, would be great on windows as well.

Neither, in the UK we need a road fund licence (tax disk) and this is just a cool holder that holds it against the winscreen as the law demands.

If you pop into a tobacco kiosk and get some lighter fliuid (refined petrol) thats best for those (any) types of sticky residue. Also it does not contain any other compounds to cause streaking etc.
