has anyone else had problems with the sunroof?/

it opens ok, but when i go to close it I hear a beep and it stops!

the only way to close it is to open the whole roof and close it which in turn closes the sun roof ok.

any ideas????

You might call the VW assistance # or check the sunroof section of your owners manual - I seem to recall that there is an instruction telling one how to try to reset the sunroof if it does not operate correctly without having to take it to a dealer.
