 I am seething. Got car back again tonight after it had yet another 145 mile round trip to Romford.

The lights are still very dangerous, much worse than before and the cornering function is still not working.

AND NOW MY CRACKING STEREO IS BACK TOO - worse than before, the cracking noise is now coming from the rear speaker as well as thr front and is much louder than before they 'fixed' it.

Right now I am 75% certain that I am going to reject the car and ask for a full refund tomorrow.

Maybe I will calm down by morning.

You have every right to seethe Gavin! Time to blast with both barrels .... to attempt the same repair three times and get it wrong or worse than when you start is worse than unacceptable. It's is buffoonery. So sorry for your bad news!

Good luck, and gutted for you! Hopefully they'll take you seriously - I got laughed out the place when i tried to reject my golf after a hideous amount of problems. Got told I was a girl - well I never, and compared my car to a dodgy fridge! Never have I made so many offical complaints about someone before!

Sounds like you had a right to do so ... think we should always remember that "we are the customer". As long as we act like Ladies and Gentelmen, then we should expect to be treated like one, and more importantly, have our issues resolved promptly and courteously! Good for you Anna!

Gavin .... hope all went a lot better today?

Latest update:

Car taken to dealer by my missus (aka Kaz or Karen) and will tomorrow be driven to Chelmsford for them to set it up alongside another EOS with Xenons.

As for the cracking stereo, I have no idea what they will do.

One thing I am pretty sure of is that this will be the very last opportunity that I give them to fix it.

Yes, Gavin. Good luck! The fact that the Dynaudio was working, then the problem recurred AFTER they buggered around with the Xenons tends to suggest that there is something wrong with the overall electrical system. I sure hope they correct BOTH issues... we're all with you Gav!

I really hope VW get it right this time, they have had enough chances. All the best.
