Hi All,

Following our period of indecision (we were considering a Tiguan as replacement for our previously problem'ed EOS), I am now excited to report that we will be taking delivery of our brand new 08 EOS on March 1st!

Sorry to all that I haven't really been around on here much but to be honest, I lost quite a bit of interest for a while there.

Anyway, I (we) are very much looking forward to being back in full swing and meeting up with fellow EOS'ers this summer.

Cheers

Welcome back. I'm glad you have gone for another Eos but as Hornet says have you gone for the same spec after all your problems with the extras before?

Cheers

Good choice. To quote from an item about the VW Tiguan 1.4 TSI in this week's 'Autocar':

"The ride is good... handles quite tidily... wind and tyre noise impressively muted..."

"Sadly, that's where the good news ends.. below 2000 rpm it felt as though a kitchen blender would have given the test car's engine a run for its money"

"Should you buy one?" " No, you'd be better off with a Skoda Octavia Scout. It's as quick, more economical, handles better and has comparative ability off the beaten track."
