Had to pay full price no discounts offered nor any freebes. In fact trade in price was a bit below par as well. Since I was sold on the Eos beforehand it was not too much of a problem.

right what i mean is you wony get 12% direct from a dealer you may get it from a broker but then you prob wont see the car for 6 months
Mine took 9 weeks to arrive. Exactly as quoted.

I got a £1000 off mine plus £400 for a tow bar. That was only achieved because the young salesman was desperate to get a sale. (once a salesman gets the smell of a sale they are like a dog with a bone). I only really got it by quoting Internet prices to him and I was ringing around all over the country to get the best price to quote back. That was hard because a lot of dealers don't give a toss whether you buy or not. All depends on quotas and stocks, time of the month, phases of the moon, what they had for lunch and other random factors. Took over 4 months to arrive from the factory though.

Gb sounds like you're getting a top motor in a few days then, how long you been waiting now? You choose the colour?

David sounds like you got a good deal getting a grand knocked off, how much did your Eos work out to in the end?

bought and sold for a good price

For £19 750 I got the car stated below, why so cheap? I didn't have to give any money to Gordon Brown (Chancellor at the time). As for waiting time, I ordered it before deploying to Afghanistan and it was waiting for me at the end of the tour. I had normal and rubber mats thrown in and the usual full tank of the black stuff. I am just about to PX her for £20 500 as she is 12 months old (was offered a bit more elsewhere but to much hassle).
I have just got deal of the century on a Ford S-Max 2.0TDi Titanium with £8 000 discount yes £8K!!! and Alistair Darling (the current chancellor) is not getting a penny. Now all I've got to do is somehow cut the roof off and fold it into the boot. (note to myself - stop having kids)

PS The Eos pillerless windows must be good for "Dogging", any views from the forum?;)
PPS I wonder if there is a lap record for a MPV around the Nurburgring?
