Needing to replace Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 235/45r17 on a recently acquired 2008 Eos. I don't know what was OEM tires here in the northeast US. These were on when we bought the car 74K miles.

Have read the threads on road noise and connection to tires, and I would like to minimize road/tire noise, esp. back axle. This being 2020, I am looking on MavisTire at General G-Max AS-05, and based on the rating, not based on use or knowledge of them. Anyone have a recommend? Or stick with the Pilot Sport?

I have an 07. It came with Michelin MXM4 tires. Some came with Goodyear Eagle LS2. The AS3 tires you have were probably a replacement. I have them now and like them. It's all personal preference and how much you wish pay. Continental has some good tires as well.

Go online and see what TireRack has to say. They have extensive customer reviews that I have used over the years. I have General Altimax RT43 tires on my 2007 Eos. Had them on a Honda and they were excellent. My Eos wheels are 16 inch.
