Got back to the car yesterday and found a couple of blobs of sticky clear tree sap on the boot lid, and one on the bonnet. Has anyone got any ideas on how to remove it? It's a right sticky mess at the moment:mad:

Hot soapy water always does the trick for me!

Kerosine usually works on tree sap and is also good for removing tar spots from roadworks.

Just realised the product "kerosene" may be unknown to some of our international members. It is also known as "paraffin" or "liquid paraffin".

Much cheaper [Oz expression for lower cost] than the equivalent commercial products.
