Dear all,

Went to check the tyre pressures on my EOS today. Got the handbook out and read that the tyre pressures are on a label stuck to the locking edge of the drivers door.

Well, guess what, no sticker:confused:

So, to anyone with the Chicago wheels on a 2.0 TFSI, what's the pressures supposed to be ?

Best regards,

Ian

Hey Ian the tire pressures on my Eos are on the fuel filler flap.

Normal load 240kpa front and rear from memory though.

I suppose the sticker on the door pillar or fuel cap is a generic one. I don't have a clue here, but does different size tyres make a difference to the pressures expected for proper operation???? I would suspect they may be different:confused:

Tire pressures for 16" through to 18" wheels for the tire sizes on the sticker are all the same.

The pressures for a full load and also for the space saver spare are also included.

I have included a pic of my sticker.

On another note, that is very interesting (your sticker) because I also have the 2.0 T-FSI and mine says 95 RON! (although I put super in it now anyway!)

Makes me wonder if I have the right sticker!

Purely speculation here :D

The new Audi S3 with the 2.0TFSI is quoted at a lower output here in Australia than the version sold in Europe.

188kw vs 197kw.

The reason given in the motoring press is that the engine is detuned for our higher temperatures. So perhaps the lower tune version of the 2.0TFSI is running on 98 here to achieve the full rated output of 147kw under our possible higher temperates.

It is engine dependant not transmission dependant. So I believe your's should read 98 as well :D
