Our car has now done a little over 16K and the front tyres are showing quite a bit of wear. I don't think they will last more than another 3 or 4k. Anyone else with a similar mileage got worn tyres or is it just me?

I had to replace 2 front tyres at about 13000 miles back in June. Was a bit disappointed about the wear rate and would have changed to a different tyre but was told there's only a choice of 2 in this particular size/spec so I stuck with the original fitment (Bridgestone).

I expect mine to last about 2000 miles the way im going at the moment!!

I am at near 15K and my tires appear in great shape. But if you have low profile tires then they just won't last long. I don't have the upgraded rims.

My wife has 18 inch rims on her infiniti and the tires are only supposed to last about 25k becuse they are unidirectional and different sizes from the back and front. This makes for a fun ride, but an often expensive problem every 25k.

What is the tread rating for the 2.0T tires? I have the Perelli's and the tread rating is rated at 40,000 miles.... 400 (tread rating) x 1000 is the formula.Of course other factors come into play, but it should give you an idea...
