I found 2 plastic parts in my fishtanks, 1 in each side, just floating around .. I can't seem to find where their home is. I tried searching for the number stamped on the part, but no luck. Maybe someone here knows where they belong? Thanks.

I have taken out all of my trunk panels and while I did find some left over junk in the fish tanks, I did not see this items mounted anywhere. Also went back through and looked at all the pictures I took and still did not see these items. It's possible they belong somewhere other than the trunk area or are mounted in an out of the way area and are not readily noticable.
Thx @2phast .. I should have noted the scale .. they are about 4in x 2in which you might have guessed from fingers.

I was unable to locate those part numbers in the US EPC, so I ran them through the Euro EPC, no luck there either. I tried both numbers BTW. Those may not actually be the item part numbers though, as left/right items have part numbers that are more or less sequential, like left 444555B and 444555C. Basically the numbers are normally identical except for one digit and it may have additional numerical identifiers to indicate color.

I appreciate you going the extra mile .. they obviously aren't critical either mechanically or cosmetically .. so into the boot they go.

I have spotted the parts on YouTube (pic below).
They go beneath the "Convertible Top Stowage Compartment Lid".

They have many tab fixing clips around the sides, are they broken? They should't break or come off unless the flaps have been sticking and been crunched as the roof opened or closed? I've repaired broken parts in these flaps, but those covers have never come off. They look cosmetic but may have a subtle purpose to stop cords or the wire getting trapped - or just to make them look better when the flap is open?
