Hi guys,

It`s my first post here so bravo to me

I have a a button in my car with unknown function for me. So it's located inside the door`s compartment for keeping stuff. You know the buttons for the boot and the fuel cap are on the one side but inside of that compartment is another button that when pressed does absolutely nothing

any help on this

I suspect it may be the button that deactivates the motion sensors...

Is it on the underside of the armrest(ish)?

Welcome to the forum Janevj. Gary is at the gym at the moment so can't help you on the button. will ask him when he gets back. Meanwhile I'm sure someone will come back with the infomation for you. Any chance of you posting some photos in the gallery section, top left hand corner? Everybody is always interested in seeing the EOS in other country settings.

The button is on the inside of compartment of the drivers door that i usually use to keep parking bills, shopping bills or other paper stuff that needed to be thrown away.

I will post pictures as soon as i can ... propably tomorrow morning.

The button switch on/off the motion sensor of the alarm, if you push that it become yellow and it's deactivated...it turn automatically on (red) when you close the car with the key or remote...
Try this: close your car normally with the roof or the moonroof totally open and then put an arm or an hand inside...the alarm start!!!

Yeah - that's what the manual says it is anyway so it's probably right....!

Could be it's not mentioned in yours! It's in the UK one but that doesn't help you!
