i would definitely be interested but here are a few issues i can think of.. one is was this ever an option (i dont think it was?) so will the wiring for the harness be there. the other is our visors seem to be a special material (because of being a convertible?) that feels a bit more rigid then your standard visor..

but im definitely interested! :p

Well, I heard it was an option in the UK or Canada (can anyone back this up?) But the wiring is there because you can order it on oempl.us for the amazing price of $455.00. The visor for the Eos would have 3 power leads, but I think most of the visors for the Mk5 and passat only have 2. I'm hoping it is compatible because you can get a homelink visor for the mk5 or passat for $50.00.

I take it by Homelink you are talking about remote control for the likes of automatic gates and garage doors? If so I certainly haven't seem it as an option on the Eos. Just read through the pricelist and there is no Homelink option for the UK.

Hi Joe,
I suspect that the wiring harnass already has room. In Canada the homelink visor is standard equipment and comes with ALL cars, and the Canadian operation is a sub-division of VW of A. If you are interested, why don't you call your dealer and see if it is compatible for both. If they are good guys I'm sure they will tell you, and if you buy it, might be worth getting them to install it. Probably an hour or less of labour.
Cheers,
