I believe it was the top ranked convertible among homosexuals too...big deal. I am a happy pink shirt wearing heterosexual male who loves his Eos. Don't try and stereotype me!!!
I don't personally like the color pink so don't wear it. I am a happily married guy that doesn't care what people think. I like the car. It drives with flair and style that has me smiling.

I've only had one person EVER say anything negative about my Eos, and that was a convertible Porche owner who's car was at the side of the road and who I stopped to help. Turned out his 5 month old's convertible top wouldn't go up and he was a little grumpy. When I offered to help (my top was down too) he told me to ... well, lets just say he wasn't nice.

Before I drove off, I put up the top and said that he could pay much less and get a car where the top works... <sigh> I let myself be nasty...

Anyway, to anyone who says they don't want a girly car... I see girls driving all of the different cars including high-end ones... does that mean that guys can't drive them? <sigh>

It's the best of both world.... It can be girly or macho... Take your pick!! :)
Agreed. An Eos can be many things to many people.

In my experience, more men stare and/or comment, but I think that's only because more men have heard or read about the Eos. In general, they have a look of amazement when they actually see it. Nothing scientific there, just my observation. The stares we get from women seem to be more discreet.
Also, we have seen men point out our car to their wives, girlfriends, whatever, as if to say, "look at that...can I get one?"

No matter what, I (actually my car) gets plenty of stares from both sexes.:)

I always worry about Karma when I make statements like that :)

:D

Normally I do too, however, this guy just turned me into an evil monster. I'd stopped to offer assistance to a fellow convertible driver, and he was just plain rude and obnoxious.

Ah well... Praying to the car gods for mercy is my only recourse now...

IMO, your stopping to help someone was a good thing which is a plus.
Losing your cool to someone who isn't worthy is a minus. So as I see it, it's a wash....once cancels out the other. No need to worry!!!! ;)

I've always held that it's not the vehicle, it's the driver. My SO looks an absolute friend of Dorothy behind the wheel of his BMW wagon and you could tell he was light in the loafers when he was driving my truck. In the Eos - well, let's just say you can see the car shake its tail when he's driving it down the road. Moi, on the other hand - I can pretty much pull off macho in anything. Except last night when I went to pick up dinner with the top down and Sirius disco on the radio a little louder than it should have been. :D
