Hi all,
I have searched this forum and done everything I "think" I'm being told to do...

1) Start the car (2-007 EOS 2.0T) and it thinks it's a 4-door with left rear door open indication on dash. The interior dome lights are on because it thinks the door is open. So, I turn off all interior map/dome lights.
2) The roof won't open unless I manually lower that left-rear window.

So, I have done the following to no avail:

1) Used the key in outside door lock. No window activation one way or the other. Somebody said using the key will lower the windows? Nope.
2) Disconnected CANBUS fuse #24...no change
3) Disconnected the battery and touched the positive and negative together..No change.
4) Put all windows down manually and held the master switch for 15 seconds
5) Put all the windows up manually and held the master switch for 15 seconds....

So, Pretty exasperated to figure this one out....I can operate the roof up/down if I remember to manually retract the left-rear window.

I thought I had read all the various threads on this topic, but still not positive.,..

Thx,
Ready to rub my belly and pat my head...or is it the other way around?

You haven't done a diagnostics scan which is the first thing to do? A scan will probably find the rear window control module faulty (no communication error).

Most of what you have read and done won't work.
