Hi

I have a VW EOS 08 Komfart with the regular 8 speaker 6 CD changer.
I want to get a nav system for the car and do not want to get the portable one, as I personally feel it doesnt look good in the car.
I know that the Nav by VW is not very top of the line.
Do u think I have an option of puting something like an after market Nav in EOS(say eclipse or kenwood) ?
Is it a good option to do smething like that?
Would it harm the manufacturar warranty on the car in any way?

The latest VW Nav system for the EOS is the RNS510 (MFD3). This is a state of the art system with touch screen, 30Gb hard disk, built in SD card reader, 3D map display, waypoint navigation.

That is nice to know, but I am sure there would be a big price diff.
I would surely check it out let me know if you have any good after market ones in mind too if they r worth comparing of cus.
This brings up my other question, would it harm the warranty?

From my understanding, if you have Dynaudio or Sirius Satellite radio extra care must be taken though I'm still trying to get a handle on them myself. Has anyone who has these options upgraded to an in-dash nav unit and maintained the functionality of these options?

Are you sure VW have called a model the Komfart? Sounds a bit unlikely to me!

latitude360 meant Komfort. It's one of the trim lines available here in the US.
