Anyone had this happen yet? I have a 2007 vw eos and the passenger window is stuck halfway down. I can either put it all the way down or half up but wont go up any further?

When the window goes up/down is it straight and level or crooked? You will have to have the dealer look at it. One of the window retainer bolts may have come loose and fallen out or there could be something bad in the mechanism. One other thing could be the window is misaligned.

It actually makes a noise like trying to put it up but doesn't move. Did it once in the winter but after a couple times went up. This was my first time putting top down in 95 degree weather this summer and stuck now. Seems aligned right but makes a grinding noise.

Sorry to say this but you will have to take it to the dealer for service. One last question. Can you pull the window up by hand?

No i tried but doesn't budge at all.
